If you know your choices for Mayor, Councillor and School Board Trustee, Advance Poll #2 has opened its doors at the Capri Pizza Recreation Complex. I typically refer to this as South Windsor Arena but I believe it was upgraded by Capri in exchange for naming rights. If you're curious, on the several occasions I've been there, no pizza!! I don't know all the details of this deal which is why I encourage you and a NEW VOTER to VOTE.
Windsor is an amazing city! Our waterfront is enchanting. We have our fingers in both manufacturing and the tech sector. Windsor experiences four seasons, blessing us with a fantastic agricultural base. Windsorites are beyond generous. Look at the number of successful, private fundraisers for families or people in need.
Windsor, our Windsor, needs to be celebrated for what it is!! Elected politicians should not be worried about what out-of-towners think. OUR representatives need to worry about us.
Make the next council, OUR council. Your VOTE is your voice. The only way city council becomes OUR council, is if more than 37% of eligible voters get to the polls.
We, you and I, deserve better!
