Can we talk?

I have met a plethora of amazing people this past month. People that love politics and those that feel politics ruined the world. The common thread is each of us believes Windsor can be a better place to work and play. We all believe current Council is not representative of the citizens of Windsor. It is time for change!

But how?

Any type of change MUST start with meaningful communication. If we share ideas, they can be twisted and amended and combined until what has been created is accepted as a wonderful plan. Be a leader, start this conversation.

EVERY candidate should take your call. EVERY candidate should want to know what is on your mind. EVERY candidate should have time for your questions. They have already offered to be the voice of the people. Now, it's our turn. Participation matters!

Do you know your ward? (Click here) Do you know your ward candidates? (Click here) Now you have everything you need to make that call. Ask for 15 minutes or a 1/2 hour. You can ask for a phone conference or a face-to-face. Something to think about... if your candidate won't take your call, do they deserve your vote?

I believe the individuals running for Council are fantastic people. They have volunteered their time to campaign for the awful job of city Councillor. Let's remember these people are not going to make everyone happy. They are going to be called names and accused of doing horrid things. I'm experiencing this and I'm only trying to get people to vote. The point is, as candidate they know they have to earn your vote. Not only do they need your support, they need you to go to the polls on October 22.
