Nobody will ever convince me that the dismal voter turnout in 2014 is not related to the disconnect between the Council and citizens of our city. Yes, we can blame Council for some awful decisions but we also have to accept the fact WE put them in the position to do so. Yes, the people on Council were put there by us. It's not as bad as it sounds. It means WE can remove them from office.

We have to go the polls. Whatever is best, Advance Voting or the General Election on October 22. Here's the issue.. we need more people to VOTE. Let's assume the people who chose current Council are content with the status quo. It's a safe assumption they will vote as they did in 2014. This means Windsor gets the same council, again.

It's difficult to flip someone's political allegiance and it's not our place to question or judge anyone for their choices. It is our responsibility to get more people involved. We, the concerned citizens whom exercise our right, absolutely MUST bring those, that claim not to vote, to the polls. We can't accept "I don't vote" as answer!!

People have complained this isn't the easiest of tasks. I have the solution, call me! I am more than happen to speak with any group, as small as four or as large as you wish. If you don't want to hear me explain why voting should never be dismissed and you want to meet with a candidate, reach out and contact them. I can't vouch for all challengers, but I have had no difficulty reaching any one of them. If you're reluctant to contact a candidate, contact me! I'll set you up.

If challengers are willing to lend their voices to us, in order to make Windsor a better place to live, I'm willing to speak to whomever, whenever, regarding why Windsorites need to vote.
