The first step in getting excited about our upcoming elections is to find out if you can participate.

It's simple.

Who Can Vote?

You are eligible to vote in the 2018 municipal election in the City of Windsor if on voting day you are:

  • A Canadian citizen; and

  • 18 years of age or older on voting day; and

  • A resident in the City of Windsor or the owner or tenant of land in the City of Windsor or the spouse of such owner or tenant of land; and

  • Not prohibited from voting under any law.

IF you've turned 18 since the last election, you can VOTE!

IF you've become a Canadian citizen since the last election, you can VOTE!

In the next post, finding/getting your name on the Windsor Voters' List and dealing with the Election Clerk's Office.
