During this amazing adventure we call municipal Elections, I have been exposed to a variety of thoughts about the election process. Conspiracy Theories are abound. Misinformation is common. As the divide between the 'haves' and 'have-nots' has grown, so has the discussion of socialism. Some people believe our democracy is simply 'mob rules'. All this might be true but this is the system we have.
If we want to see a difference, we need to use what we have, to create change we want. In order to do this, we CANNOT give up on our election process. We must beat them at their game. In order to do this, every registered voter must VOTE.
In the face of skepticism, we cannot lose faith. IF we stop participating, tyranny wins.
